You can take the A1 motorway from Rome exiting at Caserta Sud. If you are coming from Bari on the A16 or from Reggio Calabria on the A3, the recommended exit is Napoli Centro.
Once in Naples, you can head to the ferry port at the Molo di Porta di Massa, following the signs for the town centre. If you prefer, you can also proceed towards Pozzuoli on the Tangenziale and exit at via Campana/Porto Pozzuoli.
To book the ferry to Ischia, we suggest you contact the ferry companies Caremar and Medmar, which offer numerous departures during the summer. The trip from Naples to Ischia usually takes 90 minutes, with about 25 departures per day.
If you prefer to travel by car, the port of Pozzuoli is the ideal choice, being well connected to the ring road and offering convenient departures by the companies Caremar, Medmar and Gestour.
A faster option is the hydrofoil, which departs from Molo Beverello in Naples and allows you to reach Ischia Porto in just 50 minutes. The shipping companies Caremar, Alilauro and Snav offer this service. During the summer, there are numerous departures, practically throughout the entire day, while in the winter months they are less frequent but still guarantee a regular connection with the island.
