How to get the Hotel

From Naples

by car, by train, by plane

The Sunset Green Hotel is located in the municipality of Barano, on the southern side of the island of Ischia, just 1 km from Maronti beach.
Once you have landed at Ischia Porto, just take a No. 5 bus to reach us.

To reach the island of Ischia, you have several options.

Car travel

You can take the A1 motorway from Rome exiting at Caserta Sud. If you are coming from Bari on the A16 or from Reggio Calabria on the A3, the recommended exit is Napoli Centro.

Once in Naples, you can head to the ferry port at the Molo di Porta di Massa, following the signs for the town centre. If you prefer, you can also proceed towards Pozzuoli on the Tangenziale and exit at via Campana/Porto Pozzuoli.

To book the ferry to Ischia, we suggest you contact the  ferry companies Caremar and Medmar, which offer numerous departures during the summer. The trip from Naples to Ischia usually takes 90 minutes, with about 25 departures per day.

If you prefer to travel by car, the port of Pozzuoli is the ideal choice, being well connected to the ring road and offering convenient departures by the  companies CaremarMedmar and Gestour.

A faster option is the hydrofoil, which departs from Molo Beverello in Naples and allows you to reach Ischia Porto in just 50 minutes. The shipping companies CaremarAlilauro and Snav offer this service. During the summer, there are numerous departures, practically throughout the entire day, while in the winter months they are less frequent but still guarantee a regular connection with the island.

If you prefer to travel by train...

You can get off at the Napoli Centrale station in Piazza Garibaldi. From there, in just 20 minutes by taxi with a fixed fare (€13) or using the transfer service, you can reach Molo Beverello.

If you arrive by plane...

At Napoli Capodichino Airport, you have two options to reach the hydrofoil boarding dock. You can use the taxi service with a fixed rate (€21) or a transfer service.

Alternatively, you can take the Alibus, a special bus line that connects Naples International Airport to the city centre, with stops in Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Municipio, the latter close to Molo Beverello.

We remind you that if you travel by car, it is advisable to book the ferry in advance, especially during holidays and busy periods. As far as parking is concerned, both outdoor and indoor car parks are available within the port area, free of charge or for a fee. It should also be mentioned that a special arrangement exists between Federalberghi and Garage Vittoria.

We hope this information helps you plan your arrival at the Sunset Green Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay on the island of Ischia an unforgettable experience.
